Location Nongpiur, Upper Shillong, East Khasi Hills.

Year of Establishment During 2008-09 and induction of birds on September 2011.

Objectives:

The farm was set up with assistance under the National Agriculture Development Programme (NADP) / Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY). The objective of the setting up the farm in East Khasi Hills is to encourage people, participation in livestock production Livestocks with improved stock of animals. To increase egg and meat production in order to suffice the high demand in the state.

Capacities 5000 Nos. - Parent layer stock with the targeted production of 14.00 Lakh Nos. of Eggs and 1120 Lakh Nos. of Chicks.
