LOCATION : RIKWARENGE, SAMANDA C&RD BLOCK, EAST GARO HILLS DISTRICT

Year of Establishment - 10 AUGUST 2022

Goal: To meet shortage of pigs & pig products in the state.

Aims & Objectives:
1. To assist poor/ marginal farmers
2. To enhance productivity of pigs
3. To produce pure-bred Hampshire pigs for supplying to the Government Farms and Private Pig Breeders.
4. To encourage farmers to take up animal husbandry with improved breeds of animals
5. To increase farmers income
6. Multiplication of pure exotic pig breeds.

Capacities - 100 Sows.
